I'm Terrible!!

Ok....I've been told several times that I need to update my blog! But......I'm a struggle and haven't, as you can see, FoReVeR! Not much is really new though...I went on a cruise in January with the fam(will post pictures sometime soon), then went to Cali to visit the kids I nannied for over Memorial weekend(will also post pictures soon)! Other then that I've got 4 wedding receptions to go to this week! Crazy!!!! Everyone is getting hitched lately! I think it's like this every Summer! Anyway, that's about all that is new with me...oh and I passed ALL of my classes last semester! YAY! :) Now, on to registering for the Fall Semester...Sad! To be continued.....

**Holidays-Charity**

I love this time of year!! Although there is one thing that I really dislike....driving in the blasted snow!! Too much for one girl to take on by herself! :D But, I really do love the feeling of this time of year and the spirit that comes with it....We have so much to be grateful for...we have a home, we have food, we have friends, we have a job, and most importantly we have family. A lot of the times we don't look at having something so little can really be so much. Some people don't have anything! And I for one take it for grantite.

Today my brother and I took a small gift around to individuals in our ward. At first I didn't want to go....but while we were visiting the individuals it made me feel so good inside and was glad I went. Just seeing the smile on their face and how happy they were to talk to someone. It makes it all worth it in the end.

I've recently noticed how big such a small act of charity or kindess can do for someone. And how helping someone out when they are in need or just need someone to talk to can brighten someones day. I'm not the best at always doing charity and what not...But I sure do try and I am trying to do better! :) It gives you the greatest feeling inside and makes you feel better about yourself.

Angry People??Happy People??

So, I answer phones for 8hrs a day....it can be quite interesting sometimes! But the thing that I don't get is why people have to get so angry at us when we are doing the best we can to help them! Ever heard of "don't shoot the messenger"...well---we always get shot at and most of the time hit! They don't have anything to be angry for...they are going out about their business while we sit for 8hrs answering phones! LoL jk...they are probably sitting at a desk too! But, given everyone has their days and problems...for heaven sakes don't take them out on other people!

Then you get other people that are just so happy go lucky! It sure does brighten your day to know that there are still nice people out there! :) LoL But man, some people are just hillarious too! Every now and again some patient will call and give us a good chuckle!

Just thought I would share a little tid bit about that! It's been bothering me lately why some people are just mean sometimes!

~Disney On Ice~

I know this is a totally RANDOM picture...buuuut, I could resist! I freakin' LOVE LOVE LOVE cotton candy! Everywhere I go and they have cotton candy...I'm totally all over getting it! :) My family makes fun of me all the time!

Ahhh....Finding Nemo! Love this movie!! :D Heidi, my mom and I had a good laugh at their costumes...Hopefully you can figure out why... lol

Precious!! :) I love Mickey and Minnie! My sweet little niece is the smartest thing ever! She can spell Mickey Mouse all by her big self! Cassie, Cody, Kai, Mom, Me, Heidi and her sister-in-law rode the Frontrunner down there and met a couple of our other friends there to watch the show. We went down to celebrate Kai's 2nd birthday! She's getting so big! :0) I have always wanted to go to Disney On Ice ever since I was little! They always have them around my birthday every year but I have never had the chance to go! So this was an early birthday for me! lol :) It was really fun to watch all of the characters skating, dancing, jumping and flipping on the ice! I could never in a million years be able to do that!

Halloween 2008

Halloween was super fun! I never do anything....for instance...Halloween '07: I came home from school, washed my car, then finally a couple of my wonderful guy friends called me up!! Big day for me! LoL So we went up to Derick's house and just hung out! Which is was fun...but I wanted to dress up!!! :D Lol I'm kinda lame like that. But this year was super fun! First I was dressed up ALL day long for work(man, by the end of the night I had had it with that wig!) A friend of mine was having a party so we got all dolled up and went to her party! It was super fun! We danced all night long! By the end of the night I was exhausted....but it wasn't over yet! They all decided to go to Denny's! A couple of us got there before the others...and when they walked in they had a piece of paper in their hands that said that we were too loud and there were too many cars on the road...lol IT'S HALLOWEEN!!!!! Some people are lame! :D

~Skydiving~

Man! Skydiving is the best thing ever!! We went with a huge group of like 19 people! This is just a few of us patiently waiting to get ready to go! When you get there you have to fill out some papers and one of the things you have to rewrite is a sentence that is pretty much signing your life away! We were all a little nervous about rewriting it! haha The guy I was strapped to was so freakin' cool!! First of all, he looked like he was proposing to me when he was tightening my harnes so he grabbed my hand...it was pretty funny! Second, we skipped and turned the whole way to the plane..haha it looked pretty goofy! And third!! We did front flips right when we jumped out of the plane and he said we did the record amount of front flips in a row! Crazy huh!! :D It was a blast and I am so so so glad I did it! I think my friends and I are going to make it a tradition every year! :) Expensive hobby but so fun!!
